Kansas City. The only thing to do now would be to look for a new
deal. He thought he wouldn't share his disappointment with
Julie. Besides, it wouldn't help any at all.

After two weeks in Atlanta, Jay still hadn't found the right
deal, the one to put him back out there on top. Now he would
have to let Julie know that they weren't taking the deal from
Jack. For the time had been so ideal that Jay had spent most of
his cash just keeping him and Julie active.

He found several deals in the business opportunity section
of the newspaper. He told Julie there were several deals that
sounded good, but that he would need some money just to get into
them, at least a few thousand dollars just to get the doors of an
office open. He also told her all his funds were tied up at
present since he had left FreeScape.com and until he got back in the
company, Julie didn't really know what funds he was speaking of as
being tied up, but that was Jay's business.

"If I sold the car that would give us the cash, but then we
wouldn't have any way to operate the business."

"We could sale my bracelet. Do you think we could get
enough money from it to take care of everything?"

"O.K., we'll see how much we can get. Maybe we can put up
the Rolex watches as well."

Julie hadn't thought about that. Somehow it made her sad
even though she had never really liked the watch.
