"There will be someone there to let you in."

"O.K., talk to you later."

"Hey, babe, let's get dressed. We're on our way to our new
office."

As they drove across town Julie was fascinated by the city.
"Yeah, I think I'm going to like it here."

At the office, a man introduced himself as Keith Prouse, and
said he was an associate of Mr. Lonburger. No one had to say
more. Jay new exactly what was up; he had been down this road
before. Prouse showed him the offices, cautioning them about the
fresh paint. Jay said little to Prouse before leaving. Julie
knew something was wrong as they drove back to the hotel.

"Hello I would like to speak to Mr. Lonburger please. Jay
Kristal calling."

"Hi, how are you?"

"Fine; I've just returned from the offices on North Michigan
Ave."

"They're very nice aren't they?"

"Oh, yes, I'm sure your boy Prouse will have no trouble
finding someone to run a sales force, because he couldn't run his
own home. You told me this was a legit deal. All I had to do was
walk in and start my operation."

"Sure, that's all that's necessary."

"Then when I get it running you sit back and make the
profits."

"No, Jay, that's not the way it is at all."

"Then what the hell is your boy Prouse doing there?"
