been together for a life time. Jay poured himself another drink
as he left the shower and began to look lazily for the clothes he
would wear to the office this evening.
In the office Jay was very anxious to finish the business
for the evening. He collected the orders as though they meant
nothing. When Julie came into the office he immediately asked
"Want to have a drink?" Before she could reply he told Tom he
should finish the business for the day.
When Julie and Jay arrived at the Hilton, he ordered drinks
and then excused himself. She could sense that something was now
very different about Jay, but blamed it on a very hectic day.
When Jay returned he seemed more relaxed, and he began to
have his drink and suddenly became very interested in what her
day was like. This behavior seemed more like him. When Julie
asked if he had a nice day, she felt there was more to his words
than he was saying.
"Well, baby, let's have another drink. They have a beauti-
ful view from here. I have a suite here in the hotel. We'll
have a bottle of champagne sent up, and have dinner in the suite
if you like."
"With candle light?"
"That sounds very romantic. For you, my Darling, I shall
assure that there will be candle light."
As soon as they reached the suite, the world went away for
Jay. He was lost in the love and kisses he was giving to Julie.
When the champagne arrived, he didn't even bother to put the
