As soon as he did she had a big smile on her face. He took her in his arms and kissed her. "Congratulations, you have been accepted to the club." He was going to say more, even make it sound like a gesture more than anything else. Yet, now it was done; he had declared himself and she hadn't rejected him. They went around the room greeting other people, but remaining hand in hand. They were seen throughout the evening holding each other and occasionally sharing a passionate kiss.
